Mark Alan Webber was born 27 August 1976 in Queanbeyan New south Wales. In 2002 he became the first Australian to race in Formula One since David Brabham in 1994. His best finishes in Formula One to date have been a string of second places, at the 2009 Chinese Grand Prix, 2009 Turkish Grand Prix and the 2009 British Grand prix.
