Roberto Duran
Roberto Durán Samaniego, nicknamed Manos de Piedra, was born in Guarare Panama on June 16, 1951. Duran is a retired professional boxer widely regarded as one of the greatest boxers of all time.
In 2002, he was rated by Ring Magazine as the 5th greatest fighter of the last 80 years. Duran held world titles in four different weight divisions: Lightweight 1972-79, Welterweight in 1980, Junior Middleweight 1983-84 and Middleweight in 1989. Duran is only the second boxer to have fought over five decades.
