Lennox Claudius Lewis, CM, CBE, was born September 2, 1965 in London England. He is remembered as the Emperor of Boxing. Now retired, Lewis a former undisputed World Heavyweight Champion is one of four boxers in history to have won that championship three times. At the 1988 Olympic Games and as an amateur he won gold for Canada.

It was announced on December 9, 2008 that Lennox Lewis would headline the 2009 induction class into the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Lewis will enter the hall as a modern-era fighter. He retired in 2003 with 32 knockouts and a record of 41-2-1.
